The event attracted about 100 Scouts and Girl Guides from Coffs Harbour to Camden Haven.
Jamboree activities included, sailing, balancing games, morse code, operating a water bombing canon, IT activities, water slide and a game of Twister.
1st Port Macquarie Sea Scouts group leader Tracey Walsh said Saturday was part of a world-wide event.
“Jamboree of the air is now in its 60th year while Jamboree of the Internet is celebrating 21 successful years of operation,” Mrs Walsh said.
“We are encouraging our members to get on the internet and start chatting. We are also picking up (via the airwaves) people at a camp in Canberra and another in Brisbane as well.
“But it is also about just coming out and having fun too. There are plenty of games available and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.”
The Jamboree attracted Scouts from Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Wauhope, Kempsey, South West Rocks and Port Macquarie while Girl Guides represented Wauchope, Camden Haven and Port Macquarie.
There were about 100 people enjoying the event.
“Scouting and Girl Guides is about getting together and having fun but also learning about different life skills,” Mrs Walsh said.
“We also help these young people grow in confidence.
“It is always delightful to see someone building their confidence when they are learning something new.”
