The Bellingen Shire Taxi Network is proud to announce they are the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) locally approved transport provider.

Bellingen Shire Taxi drivers are professional drivers trained to work with those living with a disability as well as children and the elderly.

“People living with a disability have the freedom to access our transport services anytime they require,” taxi service owner and manager Greg McLeod said.“Whether it’s to visit a friend, go to an appointment locally, or even further afield.”

Bellingen, Dorrigo and Urunga taxis offer NDIS assistance for those living with a disability as well as their family, guardians and nominees by offering discounts to new users, set prices for regular bookings and monthly accounts for participants and organisations.

“With the NDIS now being rolled out in NSW participants who are eligible for Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme and the NDIS can now significantly increase their transport spending,” Greg said.

The Bellingen Shire taxi fleet has vehicles to suit the varied needs of customers including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis and luxury hire cars.
