I would like to say what a greta town and greater people resides in Bellingen.
We were on holidays at Scotts Head and we drove up to the markets.
I have a rescue dog who had been cruelly mistreated for tow years and it took me many months to win his trust and now he is a one person dog.
Foolishly I let my nephew take him for a walk while I went into the markets and Joey slipped his collar and took off.
We walked the streest looking for him and could not believe the kindness of the people who offered to help.
I would like to thank Pet Produce owner, Sharon and her husband Chris, and their assistant. Sharon put a notice on Facebook, rang the vet and also the ranger.
The lady who stopped her car when she saw us sitting in the bus shelter and suggest we contact the local radio station.
A man told us about buy, swap and sell Facebook page; the lady who touched me so much when she said she was on her way to Church and she would pray for me; and also the lady at the Diggers Tavern who also rang the vet and ranger.
I booked into a motel and I was staying until I found Joey at 4pm. I set off again walking the streets. He was last seen in Prince St so I was concentrating arounf that area but I was so tired I could bot face another hill so I cut through Bellingen High School and was walking along the fence of the sports field calling him all the time and to my amazement Joey came out of the golf course and crossed the road and I got him back
I would like to thank God for answering my Prayer.
Also I would like to apologise to the town – when I found him I just jumoed in the car and headed home. When I got to Tea Gardens I realised I had not removed the notices put in the town. I would not deface your town. I am sorry, I just forgot. If they are in front of your house please remove.
