Held on the beautiful Hawkesbury River just north of Sydney, 342 Australian, American, South African, New Zealand and Japanese competitors rode out at midnight to be challenged by the weather conditions and a gruelling 160kms of forestry trails.
Sharon and Isabel completed the ride in 17 hours and eight minutes, placing Isabel as the seventh junior to cross the line.
This is a fantastic result for both riders also given only 215 horses and riders finished the race.
Sharon and Isabel are now preparing for the Shahzada 400km marathon ride held in August at St. Albans.
