The Sydney weather threw everything it could at the runners with snow falling in the Blue Mountains during the night before causing freezing conditions for the morning.
However, despite the wind, rain, showers and mud Karlie’s hard training paid-off. She put in a dominant performance, finishing well in front of second place.
Not taking a backward step, Karlie has her eyes set on the National Championships in Melbourne at the end of August. A monumental achievement when combined with her Year 12 studies.
