From 10am there are six acclaimed local acts who’ll compliment more than 250 stalls for the big day. Opening the entertainment are dancers from the upcoming Saltwater Freshwater Festival, Gugabarrway Bindarray. They’ll be followed well-known quality acts who’ve been making a name for themselves through music festivals, performances and recording including The Mid North, Honey & Knives, The Vas Brothers, Something Good, and Katie Crane.
Three of the acts appearing have just released albums, The Mid North’s new album, Tales from the Mountain released and available there. As well ‘You Don’t Make the Rules’, Honey & Knives and ‘Head for the Sun’ from Something Good will be available along with VAS Brother, Vic Manuel’s debut solo album ‘Bury Me Deep’ from last year. Why not also gift the gift of music and support your local performers.
Saltwater Freshwater Festival will having a yarning tent on the day for you to say Giinagay and catch up on their program of events and performers for what is an increasingly popular festival and celebration of culture.
