Sunday at Bello Winter Music 2019

A happy wave of jazz musicians and their enthusiastic audience paraded up William and Oak streets on Sunday morning, playing and singing and creating a vibe of pure joy.

Leading on trombone and keeping everyone on track was the man who founded the Mullumbimby music festival in 2007 and brought it to Bellingen five years ago, Glenn Wright.

Rehearsals for the New Orleans style street parade certainly paid off because the massed band, loaded with brass and drums, looked and sounded fantastic.

Rockwiz legend Brian Nankervis rounded off the event by leaping into the circle of musicians, punching the air as he thanked organisers and participants for creating the wonderful experience that is the Bello Winter Music Festival and urging everyone to make the most of the time remaining.
