The Bellingen Shire has received close to $279,000 from the NSW Government for the improvement of Crown Land Reserves and community facilities.

When announcing the funding the Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the aim of the money was not only to fund infrastructure maintenance and upgrades but also to support much needed local jobs.
"Secured under the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund program, the funding will help regional communities impacted by bushfires and COVID-19."
The Member for Oxley Melinda Pavey said this year's fund had received a $40 million boost to support communities impacted by bushfires and COVID-19 by funding improvements and supporting jobs.
Local projects being funded include:
- $149,215 for rock revetment work to protect Atherton Drive Foreshore at Bellinger Heads State Park.
- $130,000 for bank protection and stabilisation work at Mylestom River Foreshore.
