multimedia, photos-and-video, Bellingen Bats, Woolgoolga Wolves, North Coast Football, 2020, grand final
THE BELLINGEN Bats didn't die wondering as they attempted to add a grand final to their minor premiership in the North Coast Football men's 2nd Division decider at Coffs Harbour today. The showpiece was a goal-fest as Bello and the Woolgoolga Wolves put on a spectacle of high-paced, physical and desperation football. The Wolves were well in control leading 4-1 midway through the second half before a sweet Bats' strike narrowed the difference to set up an entertaining finale. Both sides were backed by chanting, singing and baying armies of supporters - which created a great atmosphere inside the stadium. It's been a full program of grand finals at Leisure Park and the adjacent International Stadium - across junior and senior grades. Enjoy the gallery.
