Urunga's information centre ready for post-COVID visitors

Perfectly timed to welcome the NSW school holidays crowd and other domestic travellers, the Great Koala National Park Information and Visitor Centre will be reopening its doors this Friday at 10am.

The centre only opened in December last year before it was forced, like so many other businesses, into hibernation following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.

It is managed under a partnership between NSW National Parks Association, the Bellingen Environment Centre and the Nambucca Valley Conservation Association and fulfils a dual role: servicing visitors with information provided by local businesses as well as promoting the benefits of the Great Koala National Park.
