The ACD is aware the coronavirus is easily transmitted through close contact and in large gatherings, therefore the committee has reluctantly decided to cancel the show before more planning work progresses.
The ACD proposes to reschedule the exhibition hopefully later in the year as circumstances allow.
At the time of writing the NSW Government has not advised against large gatherings however the ACD believes that cancelling the DEAE is a responsible action in such unpredictable times.
To the best of our knowledge this is the first time in the 30 year history of the Easter Art Show that the committee have felt the need to cancel a show.
Artists who have already paid to enter work will have all fees refunded by our treasurer.
The ACD is saddened to cancel this year's show and we extend our best wishes to our members and the community in these uncertain times.
