Eintracht Frankfurt have progressed to the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League with a 2-2 draw against Red Bull Salzburg giving them a 6-3 victory on aggregate.

The tie was all-but decided after the first leg, and a brace from Andre Silva ensured a comfortable passage for the German side after Salzburg had twice taken the lead through Andreas Ulmer and Jerome Onguene.

The match had been due to be played on Thursday (Friday AEDT) but was put back a day due to strong winds.

Frankfurt will take on Swiss side Basel in the next round.
