Patron David Helfgott will play and so will the BYO Sinfonia.
The concert will also give players from the BYO who have initiated smaller ensembles the opportunity to perform in front of a bigger audience.
Businesses and individuals in our shire have been invited to donate an item or voucher to use in the auction and so far have been very generous.
People can ring Rainee on 0448 635 531 or email admin@bellingenyouthorchestra.com.au to donate to the online auction.
The auction will open on January 26 and close on February 3.
All money will go towards the Australian Red Cross Disaster Recovery Fund. More specifically the money will be used to rebuild homes and assist in providing dwellings for those without a place to call home.
The young players have been involved in the design of the advertising (poster and tickets), will be assisting to bake and sell cakes and will be helping with ticketing on the night.
Tickets ($20/$10) are available via Eventbrite, Bellingen Emporium and at the door.
The concert begins at 6.30pm.
