The last Made in Dorrigo for 2019 was marked by noticeably heightened spirits, a rare presence during the previous three months.
With rain falls of up to 38mm across the plateau during the previous two days and bare paddocks showing a green tinge there were reasons for a little end of year celebration.
Crowds were bigger than normal, organisers were pleased with the outcome and many visitors came from the coast and also Kempsey.
Stall holders said there was a spin off from a similar, larger market day at Bellingen with bargain hunters making the trip up Dorrigo Mountain for a little more Christmas shopping.
