Organiser Jennie Fenton said the idea had come about following concerns about climate change and fires raised by a number of local groups.
"We realised that most pressing thing to do is to help with the emotional load our community members have been carrying while helping people be as prepared as possible," Jennie said.
"The group includes members from Coffs Climate Action Group, Knitting Nannas of Bellingen, youth workers from the Hub, Climate Strikes local organisers, OzGreen, and Gumbaynggirr representatives.
"The plan is to have fire preparedness information and other relevant information but also to provide a space for people to talk about how they have been feeling and what they have been experiencing with a group healing led by Jason John."
Staff from the Office of Emergency Management, Local Land Services as well as Chaplan and Lifeline will also be on site.
Council staff will be available to share information with residents about the fire situation, has they have been doing this week in Thora and Kalang.
Donations will be collected for the RFS and wildlife rescue and support at the area also.
