The men, aged 31 to 64, were nabbed as part of a sophisticated investigation targeting high-threat online predators.
A 38-year-old teacher from a central Queensland high school is among those charged, police said on Tuesday.
He's accused of possessing and distributing child exploitation material and will face the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 15.
Five other Queensland men have also been charged as part of a nationally co-ordinated police operation involving specialist child abuse and sex crime detectives.
They include a 31-year-old Brisbane man, who has been charged with using a carriage service to access child abuse material. He'll face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
The other four are a 41-year-old man from Tingalpa in Brisbane, a 34-year-old from Kingaroy, a 64-year-old from Labrador on the Gold Coast, and a 32-year-old from the Toowoomba suburb of Harristown.
The arrests followed the execution of nine search warrants across Queensland. Material seized during those raids will be examined in a bid to identify the young victims.
