The money was to support the District Governors Fire Disaster Relief Fund which is to be allocated toward affected areas around our local area.
DG Bill Sheppard said the monies will be focused on continuing to support teams still working on controlling fires as well as toward the recovery process for areas already trying to rebuild.
The Lions Club of Bellingen were proud to be able to support areas in need.
The cheque was presented by Lion Bill Butler to DG Bill Sheppard at the recent Anniversary Night on 19th November 2019.
This is a night when the club acknowledges and celebrates dedication and commitment of service to the Lions Club of Bellingen. Congratulations to Lions Bruce Tait receiving his badge for 44 years and to Lion Wal Tyson for 45 years of service to the Club.
