Dust off your clubs, get a team in and ready yourself for a day of friendly competition, great company and a good time.

The Urunga Surf Club will be hosting the Builder's Picnic charity golf day at Urunga CeX Golf Course on Friday December 6. Monies raised are earmarked to purchase and update rescue equipment to help keep the beach safe.

The event is an 18 hole 3-Man-Ambrose event, with a shotgun start at 9am. Two teams will hit off together and battle it out for the day. Golf fees, all food, complimentary drink and prizes for all competitors are all included in the one low $60 fee. All players are asked to be in attendance by 8.30am for the "golf cart auction" and hole allocations.

The field is strictly limited and is filling fast, so make sure you enter your team at the Urunga Golf Club, Ocean View Hotel or by phoning Garry Matthews (0411 360 190).

The Surf Club would like to thank all those who have helped so far but would appreciate more sponsor donations for the day. If you can supply prizes in sets of three, a prize for raffles or other major prizes could you please contact the number above or Gary Howe at the Urunga or Bello Newsagency. The Surf Club is a fully registered charity and all donations are tax deductible.

Get your names in now for a great day. Numbers are limited and filling fast.
