A man has been arrested after allegedly lighting a fire currently threatening Ebor on the Northern Tablelands.

Since 3pm today, the fire in the vicinity of Guyra Rd, west of Ebor has been at emergency warning level.
The RFS said the fire was fast moving, out of control, and burning towards Ebor village.
Residents have been told it is too late to leave and they should seek shelter as the fire approaches.
BlazeAid president Kevin Butler has been trying to contact the Ebor camp to make sure they are okay but he said phone calls are not getting through.
Emergency services first responded to reports of the fire on Thursday evening at about 10.30pm.
Witnesses reported a man acting suspiciously and police were alerted.
Following inquiries, New England police arrested a 51-year-old Ebor man just after 2pm today.
The man was taken to Armidale Police Station and remains in police custody.

An emergency warning is in place for a bush fire burning in the area of Guyra Road, Ebor. The fire is more than 2,000 hectares in size and is out of control.
Current Situation
- The fire is burning in the area of Guyra Road, west of Ebor.
- The fire is burning towards Ebor village.
- The fire is fast moving and out of control.
Advice
- If you are in the area of Ebor, seek shelter as the fire front arrives. Protect yourself from the heat of the fire. It is too late to leave.
