Past president Colleen Duncan and husband Barry have been generous sponsors since its inauguration in 2005. Runners-up with 36 points were Faye Puckeridge and Hermie Franck.
It will be quite a hectic time when October rolls along starting with the mixed Spring Carnival over the long weekend and as there is very generous prize money on offer we would like to see a few more entries particularly from other clubs.
The final competition for the year is Consistency with nominations closing on October 4 and starting October 10.
The Pennants sheet for 2020 starting late February is on the board and the Match/Selection Committee would like expressions of interest ASAP.
As a matter of interest our victorious Grade 2 2019 side has been promoted to Grade 1.This season Urunga is fielding two teams in the Summer League - The Rockettes Lynne Tarrant, Bev Cloake, Ava Power and The Raiders Helen Hoffman, Leeanne Reid, Robyn Adams - and we wish them good bowling, good luck and a repeat of last year's success.
It is not too soon to start bringing in saleable items for the trading table on our Gala Day to be held on Tuesday October 10 and names on the sheet to indicate whether you are playing or just coming for lunch.
