The screening of 2040 at the Bellingen Memorial Hall last Saturday night was a huge success. The hall was filled to capacity and the film received an enthusiastic response from the audience.

The event was sponsored by Kombu Wholefoods, who covered all costs. Entry was by gold coin donation, with some members of the public giving substantially more - over $1000 was raised for the campaign on the night.

In the film, award-winning director Damon Gameau explores what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream.
