People living on the Plateau, including those in Dorrigo, have received emergency phone warnings about a fire in Muldiva State Forest heading east towards Bostobrick.

It is part of the huge Bees Nest fire that began in the Guy Fawkes River National Park, which is still out of control and has doubled in size from last night to over 50,000 hectares.
It has crossed into Bellingen Shire and is heading towards Dundurrabin and Tyringham.
People in the areas of Tyringham, Dundurrabin or Bostobrick should seek shelter as the fire front approaches. It is too late to leave.
There are more than 90 firefighters from the NSW Rural Fire Service, National Parks & Wildlife Service and Fire & Rescue NSW working on the fireground. They are being supported by six aircraft. The NSW RFS Large Air Tanker has been deployed from Coffs Harbour Airport.
An Emergency Warning is the highest level of bushfire alert, indicating that people in that area may be in danger and should take action immediately.

A bush fire is burning north of Ebor. The fire is currently more than 50,350 hectares and is out of control.
Current Situation
The fire is burning north of Ebor, along Armidale Road and in the vicinity of Marengo Road.
The fire is burning quickly towards the east, and is impacting Tyringham and Dundurrabin.
The fire is also burning in the Muldiva State Forest, and burning towards Bostobrick.
Homes and properties in the area are under threat.
Advice
If you are in the area of Tyringham, Dundarrabin or Bostobrick, seek shelter as the fire front approaches. It is too late to leave.
Protect yourself from the heat of the fire. If you are caught in the path of the fire, you may die or be injured.
Embers may be blown well ahead of the main fire front creating spot fires. These can threaten properties ahead of the main fire front.
After the fire front has passed patrol your property and extinguish any spot fires.
If you are caught in the path of the fire, you may die or be injured.
If you live in the area but are away from your home, it may not be safe to return to your property.
Emergency Alert telephone warning messages are being sent to phones in the area.
