Undefeated in their first three games, this team demonstrating a high paced flowing style of play but they were outfoxed by St Columba in their final round game suffering a defeat.
They then moved into the final to again face St Columba, only this time the team showed their understanding of the game, dominating play throughout.
Amazingly the game was tied after both normal time and extra time, which meant a penalty shoot-out. This was all square after five penalties each until our goalkeeper Floyd pulled off a great save on the next penalty to secure the win.
The 15 years boys played well, winning two and and suffering two close defeats by a single goal. They dominated all of their games, they now need to develop that killer instinct in front of goal.
The 19's boys were always going to find the tournament a challenge as a number of their key players were unable to play. They came up against some strong opposition, but demonstrated some great examples of teamwork and resilience.
