This year, the Urunga Branch CWA, along with the 400 other CWA branches across NSW, are focusing on women's mental health awareness and support services in country communities, and how all of us can help make a difference.
Our branch is hosting a display in Urunga Library from Tuesday to Friday.
We are hosting a 'sconversation' in our CWA rooms at 35 Morgo Street on Friday, September 6 from 10.30. We are also having a stall at Urunga Riverside Market on Sunday, September 8.
One of the organisation's main messages this awareness week is the importance of a support network and regular catch-ups - or a 'sconversation' - with friends, the chance to talk about how you're feeling in a safe and supportive environment, and ask for assistance should you need it.
