Mrs Edithe Pigott, OAM, stood down from the position of president, a role she has held for five years, but as she still wishes to be involved she has agreed to be our patron.
Mr Mark Troy, OAM, who had been the patron for two years, is now president.
The other office bearers haven't changed with Dianne Cork, treasurer, Angela Slater, secretary and vice presidents Laurice Lavender and Sheila Brown.
Edithe was presented with a gift of some beautiful orchids as a token of appreciation for her leadership and dedication.
We are looking for people interested in finding out more about Red Cross, becoming a branch member, or just a supporter when an appeal is launched.
We meet every third Friday in the Bellingen Senior Citizens rooms at 2 pm.
Our stock of Trauma Teddies has become very low so if you can knit, we would love to hear from you. These bears are handed out to young and old who have suffered any type of trauma.
To aid our fundraising efforts, we have street stalls and run a very reasonable crockery hire service.
Please ring Angela Slater on 6655 0228 for more information.
