Continuing the great tradition of toasting dads on Father's Day in Urunga, a great event is planned once again for the beautiful foreshores at the Morgo Street Reserve on Sunday September 1.

The sparkling blue waters of the Kalang and Bellinger Rivers will provide the backdrop, the riverside stage will be filled with a variety of musicians to provide entertainment, and the park will be dotted with amazing food outlets so dads and the whole family will be well catered for.
This free family fun event will get underway at 10am and continue through to 3pm. Bring some chairs or picnic rugs and settle back to enjoy all that's on offer to make this Father's Day very special.
Musical highlights of the event will include the opening act which will be the acclaimed Bellingen High Jazz Band led by local music teaching legend, Ann Phelan. There is bound to be some very proud dads in the audience listening to the cool tunes from these talented local players.
Later, the Riverside stage will bring you Scottish born musician Calum Foulis, raised in the Glasgow music scene, who plays a mixture of country, blues and folky rock all with a pinch of Scottish twang. Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, harmonicas and vocals. Calum has taken his love for music across the world playing in bands from the UK to North America at venues and festivals.
Calum brings his Scottish roots with him to every gig along with various other tunes that is sure to keep the crowd captivated.
Fittingly on Father's Day we will also see a father and son family trio hailing from Nana Glen, comprising of Pete, Sam and Lee Dyball . Called D'Boyzos. they are an acoustic trio playing a wide variety of great music covering such artists as Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, Train, Vance Joy, Doobie Brothers, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Maroon 5 - just to name a few. The days entertainment will be headlined by the Matty Devitt Band who are very popular performers up and down the East Coast of Australia. Matty and the band are currently touring the east coast from Cairns to Coffs, delivering a unique style of Chilled, Rootsy, Acoustic Rock, driven by Matty's insightful and soulful lyrics.
With all of this and more happening on the stage, along with face painting for the kids, and an amazing array of delicious foods available, this free, family fun day is the perfect for you to toast dad on Father's Day.
