This keeps the boys' season alive; they will play Smithtown this coming Saturday in Bellingen for a place in the grand final.
The boys started the game slow but eventually got into gear and led 20 to 12 at the end of the first half.
The game had moments in the second half that were dominated by each sid, but the Magpies eventually come out on top 34 to 24, doing their town and supporters proud.
The team was well served by two veterans, Jesse Alford and Ben Galloway, who both had excellent games.
Max (Richard) Cracknell was in fine form scoring a fabulous hat trick of tries for the team, Tyeren Busuttil scored a scintillating run-away try, Joe Margetts crashed through strong defence for a try and the win was topped off by a brilliant individual try by Mitchell Summers-Whalley.
In defence, the team had the benefit of some heavy work from Jack Margetts and the ever-reliable Patty Carey, with Brodie Young making a late game saving tackle.
It was a great effort from the whole team.
The boys will be playing in the finals this Saturday, August 24 at Bellingen Park, better known as the Graveyard.
The under 14s game kicks off at 11am. First game of the day kicks of at 9am. Come on down, get behind and support the Magpies.
