There has been a lot of publicity lately by a group that is trying to stop the roll out of 5G, the fifth generation of mobile communications. They have a website and I have found that the information on the website is misleading and much of it is false.

It is obviously written by people who do not have the most basic understanding of physics. The EMR (electromagnetic radiation) at 5G frequencies is 1000 times weaker than the heat (EMR) radiated from your warm body. It is certainly not ionising radiation. And it most certainly is very unlikely to give you cancer, contrary to their claims.
The most dangerous and powerful EMR that people are exposed to is sunlight. The ultra-violet part of sunlight is ionising and will increase your risk of cancer, and will cause cellular damage. We take precautions against this danger by wearing hats, clothes, sunscreen, and limiting our exposure.
The EMR from 5G radio waves is 100,000 times weaker than sunlight and, like the heat radiated from other people, will only contribute to a very slight and undetectable warming if absorbed.
The 5G network may offer faster internet and, hopefully, better phone quality. It may be used to send you more advertising but the radiation is extremely unlikely give you cancer. It is far too weak. Too much sunshine will increase your cancer risk. Fact. Drinking alcohol will increase your cancer risk. Fact. We need to keep things in perspective and not succumb to irrational scare campaigns with no basis in scientific fact.
Bear in mind that the most dangerous thing you are likely to do today is to drive a car. Using your phone while driving increases this danger enormously. This is the greatest danger that a mobile phone presents to your life and that of others. You don't need to worry about 5G.
