Local band 6+ will join the impressive line-up of musicians playing at the Bellingen Winter Music Festival from July 11 to 14.

Rob Simpson formed the band 18 months ago after a community musical event in Urunga, 'Celebrating the Seaboard'. He was joined by Julie Hutchinson, Persia Wildwood, Odile Lejus, Marie Mellon and Kathy Gibbings.
"We've all come from different musical backgrounds, and with a number of songwriters in the band it makes for a quirky mix of songs," said Rob.
"We also have a diverse bunch of instruments; sax, mandolin, ukulele, guitars, double bass and percussion and three of us on vocals."
"We'd had a few local gigs, Bellingen Community Market, the Growers Market, and the opening of the arts venue 'The Stables', and we're now looking forward to presenting our music at this showcase event."
6+ will perform at festival venue No. 5 Bellingen, Saturday, July 13 at 1pm.
