Adrienne Hmelnitsky from the gallery said a successful opening night was celebrated on Saturday, July 6 at The Art Space where Gumbaynggirr artists of all ages and experience shared their work.
"What an honour and joy it was to have Michael Jarrett give Welcome to Country in both English and Gumbaynggirr language, and a delight to see the Yiliiwiyay-gurra Yuludarla-biin Dancers performing," she said.
"A great night to open an excellent exhibition."
The exhibition includes works by award-winning and established artists, as well as youth and emerging artists, and it runs until July 19.
The Art Space Urunga is open from 10am to 4pm daily at 13 Bonville Street, Urunga.
