We had guests join us from neighbouring clubs, Urunga and Nambucca-Macksville. Some ladies wore red, green and white, the colours of the Italian flag, which was a marvellous effort. We enjoyed an Italian food raffle, and many lucky door prizes.
June birthdays were celebrated, and Bev Miles was given a lovely bouquet of flowers. Everyone enjoyed the camaraderie and a delicious Italian meal. Mr Giri Mazzella, our special Guest Entertainer, serenaded us with authentic Italian regional songs which was a great way to round off our special luncheon.
Three members were awarded badges by national councillor, Mrs Lesley Carroll. Robyn Ipsen and Sydette Anderson were awarded 10 years badges, while Laurice Lavender was awarded her 20 years badge. Congratulations ladies.
All money raised goes towards our 'Learning for Life' students whom we sponsor through The Smith Family. VIEW clubs assists disadvantaged school children to help them reach their goals whilst at school and prepare them for life.
