The public art project 'Word on the Street' is supported by Affirmations Publishing House and features poetry by Eric Avery.
There will be large scale visual writing prompt words - go on a hunt and see if you can find them all.
Poetry will pop up on windows at Weave,The Collective, Corner Store, Hyde ,People of Coffee, Gelato Bar, Qudo and Purple Carrot.
Collect poetry excerpts with your tea and coffee orders at participating venues and tap out some storytelling on typewriters here and there.
The featured poem is 'Passage of Time' by Eric Avery, who is from from the Ngiyampaa, Yuin, Gumbangirri and Bundjalung people of NSW.
Eric's poem will be found on shop windows throughout town.
There will be a Big Fig Arts exhibition titled 'Book Ends', inspired by books and poetry at the Bellingen Brewery featuring local artists Marc Renshaw, Ruth Ackary, Mitch Thomas, Verena Barthal and Julia Ehemann, with opening night on June 12.
