Hockey talent Justin Alford has recently returned from New Zealand, where he represented Australian Country hockey.

Justin was selected into the Open Men's Australian Country team last August when his NSW team won gold at the Australian National Championships in South Australia, and where he was awarded the best player for NSW from his coach.
He was also one of the younger team members named into the Australian team.

In April the team left to tour New Zealand for two weeks starting in Wellington then onto Napier, Rotorua and finishing up in Auckland.
The quality of hockey played was outstanding and saw Australia finish with 5 wins, 2 losses and a draw.
At the conclusion of the tour Justin was voted by his peers on presentation night the "Most Valuable Player" for the Australian team. Quite an achievement for a young player.
