"We are expecting a grand turn out of Bello folk as this year's show will be a real family affair showcasing all the features of a typical country show," said show secretary Geoff Adams.
There will be a host of events and activities and prizes for the children. They can try their skill at treasure hunting, art and craft, and learn about animals at the animal nursery and dog trials.
"The show reflects our rural heritage and we continue to feature equestrian events, cattle competitions, wood chopping, poultry competitions and the Burra Working Dogs as well as an amazing array of local produce, plant displays, arts and crafts and photography in the Main Pavilion," said show president Ted Greenwood.
The Main Pavilion promises stiff competition and will be packed with displays of farm and gardening produce, floral art and cookery as well as a wide variety of arts and crafts.
"Despite drought conditions playing havoc in other parts of the state, our local livestock have fared pretty well so far and will be shown in top condition in the newly rebuilt Cattle Pavilion as will our horses and poultry," said Geoff.
This year the show will feature a special display of 40 rare vintage motor bikes to join the regular vintage and veteran car display.
"Our very popular mongrel dog show will be on again and of course the chips will be flying at the woodchop."
