A great match was had on Saturday against the also undefeated Urunga. It was a highly anticipated match, with school friends, past team mates and local buddies matched up against each other in a tightly contested match.
Bello scored first with a sneaky ball from Noah McGovern and went into the half time break pumped at motivated. Urunga were super determined out from the break and put on 2 quick goals to lead 2-1.
The game got pretty tense then and some great football was played. Bello had the run of the play and with some great passing and teamwork for the ball to Luka Shirley who kicked a sensational goal.
A deserving end 2-2 to both teams.
Unfortunately, Bellingen said goodbye to their fearless goal keeper and great striker Jahlu Kay who is moving out of the area.
Well done both U12 Bellingen and Urunga Football Clubs.
