A record 16,424,248 Australians are enrolled to vote at the 2019 federal election.
Where can I vote in Cowper?
This follows almost 100,000 additions to the roll in the week preceding the close of rolls, which has pushed the national enrolment rate to an extraordinary 96.8 per cent.
The candidates contesting Cowper, after the retirement of Luke Hartsuyker MP who has held the seat since 2001, are:
- Ruth Meads, Christian Democratic Party (Fred Nile Group)
- Pat Conaghan, The Nationals
- Alexander Stewart, United Australia Party
- Andrew Woodward, Labor Party
- Independent Robert Oakeshott
- Lauren Edwards, The Greens
- Kellie Pearce, Animal Justice Party
- Independent Allan Green
Voting closes across the electorate at 6pm.
