With the end of daylight saving twilight bowls have now finished but keep an eye out for information about mixed Sunday morning bowls which will be starting in the near future.

To ensure a place it is not too soon to organise a team and send your entry in for the Camellia Carnival to be held on the Queen's Birthday weekend Saturday 8 and Sunday June 9.
A note for your diary is UWBC's Biggest Morning Tea which will be held on Tuesday May 7. Members of the public will be most welcome to come along and help our club raise money for the Cancer Council.
We were very sorry to learn from Brenda Fane that she has transferred to Park Beach Bowling Club as from April 17. Brenda has made a unique and valuable contribution to Urunga women's bowls as Secretary, as a Director of Urunga Bowling Club, a delegate to Mid North Coast District Women's Bowling Association and a Selector for District. Not only did she contribute administratively but, as a nationally accredited coach, she voluntarily donated her time coaching both adults and juniors and introducing future champions to the game. Brenda now lives in Coffs Harbour and she leaves UWBC with appreciation and recognition of her contribution to the club and the good wishes of all her bowling friends for success and happiness in her new club.
