After the dawn service, the RSL Sub Branch Women's Auxiliary will serve breakfast at the RSL Club. All are welcome to attend.
The March and Wreath Laying Service will commence at 11am. Marchers are to assemble outside the RSL Club at 10.40am. Order of March will be Golf Carts, Light Horse, Colour Party, Schools and Community Groups, Family Members, and Veterans & Ex-Servicemen and Women.
Families of those who served their country during wartime are invited to join in the march and wear their parents/relatives medals.
The ANZAC day lunch will be served in the RSL Club for Ex-servicemen and Women and their partners only.
In previous years refreshments were provided for young marchers after the service. Unfortunately, due to a lack of numbers attending, this will no longer occur.
All members of the Dorrigo community are invited to attend these services to honour those who died in the service of their country. Please bring an Australian flag to wave and show support for all those who fought for their country.
The Dorrigo RSL Sub Branch requests that businesses do not trade between 10.30am and midday on the day. This is to observe the tradition of ANZAC Day's importance to the nation by not opening for trading until after the ANZAC Day ceremonies have been completed.
Wreaths may be ordered from the Dorrigo RSL Women's Auxiliary by completing an ANZAC Day Wreath Order, available from the Dorrigo RSL Club, by April 20. Cost of a wreath is $25.
