Meet the Press
Dorrigo Museum - Tuesday April 23, 4-6pm
This unique event focuses on the Don Dorrigo Gazette, the last Letterpress newspaper in Australia.
Hear about its fascinating history and operation presented by Michael English, editor of the Gazette.
Pam Cork will share stories about her father's editorship of the Bellingen Courier Sun and training of the Dorrigo Gazette staff and demonstrate how an Intertype machine and Heidelberg Press works.
Gazettes from 1910 when it first started to the present will be on show, as will various films and videos that tell this very special story.
Of course there will also be time for a cuppa and a chat.

Bellingen Heritage Walk with a Hippie Twist
Bellingen Museum - Friday April 26, 6pm
The town of Bellingen is graced with grand old heritage buildings that all have a story to tell.
To celebrate the museum's new focus on The Alternative Lifestyle People of the Bellinger Valley - 1970s & 80s, participants are encouraged to dress as hippies and take a heritage walk through historic Bellingen town.
The walk will end back at the museum for drinks (champagne, tea, coffee and nibbles) and a performance by Elizabeth Routledge and Annie Venture.
