In this one day workshop, Simon will teach the gentle serene movements that help connect you with your environment and feel an integral part of life. The word Liu He refers to the six directions: east, west, south, north, upward, and downward.
This ancient health cultivation practice was influenced by the philosophy of Daoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Experts and professors at the Shanghai Qigong Research Institute in China further developed its evolution.
With regular practise, Qigong helps to restore your energy, reduce stress and anxiety and maintain a healthy and active life.
Master Simon Blow has been a professional Qigong teacher (Laoshi) since 1992. He received certification in medical qigong clinical practise from the Xiyuan Hospital in Beijing and initiation into Dragon Gate Daoism with the given name Xin Si, meaning Genuine Wisdom. He is also Deputy Secretary of the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong, Beijing.
Simon conducts many retreats and workshops throughout Australia and has been leading specialist training tours to China to learn directly from masters at the source since 1999. He is also the author of numerous books, DVDs and meditation CDs about the ancient Chinese healing arts.
