Organisers Robert Canning and Pastor Paul McGovern said about 25 people had signed up so far for the event, which will be held at Reflections Holiday Park Urunga.
Called 'Man Up, Dominating Depression', it's designed to encourage men to share their experiences and give them information and tools.
"Men are not good at talking about their issues," Paul McGovern said. "We try to hide things away so we don't look weak. We're trying to give men hope and also start conversations, so they know they're not alone in this and they're not broken, they're just human beings."
Paul stressed that the people running the workshops will not be mental health professionals.
"We're not doctors, we're not psychologists, we're not psychotherapists," he said. "All we're there to do is just tell them our own stories - because most of us who are putting this on have been through similar things - and we want to let them know that you can get through it, and give them some tools to take away to help them cope."
MUDD will run from the afternoon of Friday March 29 till Monday morning. A GoFundMe page is trying to make it free of charge for participants to attend.
