Thanks to two great relay swims, eight girls from Bellingen High are heading to the NSW Combined HIgh Schools State Championships at Homebush on April 8-10.

The North Coast Carnival was held at Murwillumbah on March 5 between the best swimmers from 32 High Schools and five Central Schools on the North Coast.
The 13 years girls 4x50m freestyle relay finished second by just under a body length and the 16 years girls 4x50m freestyle team were Champions!
This qualified both teams to compete at the State Carnival.
There were some other outstanding results with Rebecca Hodgson qualifying in 16 years girls 50m, 100m, and 200m FS as well as 100m BR, 100m FLY and 100m BK; Yasmin Ball qualifying in 13 years 100m BR and 50m FS and Holly Pagulayan- McCabe in 16 years 100m BR.
This is the best result for Bellingen swimmers in many years.
