In the inaugural women’s representative competition, the North Coast Bulldogs had a hard-fought win against the Greater Northern Tigers.

After scoring early in the match, the Bulldogs had a tough task for the majority of the first half with a number of big hits and some uncharacteristic dropped balls.

At halftime, the Bulldogs were in front 10-0.

The second half was more free flowing and featured a close to line try for Bellingen’s Tina McRae.

In a game with a high penalty count, the Bulldogs ran away winners 22-0.

The Magpies had two representatives in the Bulldogs team, Tina McRae and Rachel Devine, who were both instrumental in the team's win. Well done to all the players involved.

The Bellingen Dorrigo Magpies will return to Dorrigo this weekend (Sunday) to host a trial match against the Armidale Rams RLFC.
