Number 5 Church St in Bellingen is hosting a free musical event to sweeten your Valentine's Day.

“We have Bellingen’s own Shanteya and Jo performing,” Annie Arnold said. “The sweethearts of Bellingen, in my opinion.”

Although there is no charge to hear them, bookings are essential on 6655 0155

Shanteya and Jo are independent folk duo Saije, whose soulful harmonies, dynamic guitar-lines and percussive breakdowns breathe life into heartfelt stories.

They will bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye as they take you from the depths of ancient forests to bustling French markets, weaving threads of Celtic, tribal, and French gypsy flavours into their songs along the way.

In 2017, after the release of their EP ‘Without Walls’, the duo began sharing their tales and tunes at a number of Australia’s festival gems, including Mullumbimby Music Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival and Bello Winter Music Festival.
