Under the current Bridges Renewal Program, council will submit applications for funding for Bielsdown Bridge, Coramba Road, Dorrigo and Richardsons Bridge, Darkwood Road, Thora.
Council is requesting support for this application from members of the community, businesses and services through the completion of a short survey or by providing a letter of support.
The focus of the survey is on the impact that a bridge closure or load limitation will have on residents and businesses of the Bellingen Shire.
Surveys and letters of support received will help to provide evidence to the federal government of the need to fund these and other bridge projects.
The survey can be found at https://create.bellingen.nsw.gov.au/bridge-renewal
Letters should be addressed to the General Manager and emailed to council@bellingen.nsw.gov.au or delivered to 33-39 Hyde Street Bellingen.
The survey will close at 4:30pm on Friday February 1. Letters of support should also be received by this date.
