It looks like our PM might have gone for a holiday swim at Cheviot Beach and is temporarily ‘missing in action‘. Otherwise he surely would have made a statement by now about the fact that an Australian Senator, Fraser Anning, spoke alongside, and to, convicted criminals and Nazis at yesterday’s rally on St Kilda beach.

So in the event that he finally resurfaces and the sharks have left any vestige of backbone, I’ve prepared a speech/press release for him.
It’s ready to go ScoMo, we just need your ok. Just nod or wink if you arent up to signing at the moment. I’m told you are good at giving the green light with a nod and a wink.
Anyway, here it is, ready and waiting.

PRESS RELEASE
It has been brought to my attention that yesterday at St Kilda beach a rally was organised by a coalition of Nazis and convicted criminals which had as its aim provoking violence against decent law abiding Australians who, admirably, were prepared to stand up to this attempt to promote Fascism in this country.
I regret that an encounter with a White Pointer prevented me from making a statement earlier. Having now regained consciousness and full control of my faculties following surgery to amputate my right leg above the knee and graft a new section into my spine, I am now in a position to make a statement.
Australia is a secular democracy which has, at least since 1788, been founded on multiculturalism. Certainly White, Caucasian Australians have no more right to claim any exclusivity to this country than any of the many other cultural, ethnic and religious groups, including the First Australians, that make Australia’s melting pot the envy of the world.
The fact that Nazis and their sympathisers brazenly attempted a stunt such as this is abhorrent to the vast majority of decent Australians.
The actions yesterday of convicted criminals like Neil Erickson and Blair Cottrell and their neo-Nazi supporters are condemned by me and the government I lead.
Further, that an elected (albeit with a personal vote count of just 19) Australian Senator, a man whose charge is to represent the people of the great State of Queensland, should share the stage with these scum, flies in the face of everything this nation stands for and that our servicemen and women fought for in two World Wars.
I say to Senator Anning, when Parliament resumes, don’t bother turning up, we’ll be better off for your absence. Instead spend your time getting around and meeting with the decent citizens of the State you are supposed to represent. Apologise to them, if they’ll meet with you, for your disgraceful ‘error of judgement‘ that you made yesterday.
When you have cleansed your soul and made peace with the people of Queensland, only then seek the permission of your peers to return to Canberra.
Hon. Scott Morrison
Prime Minister of Australia.
Ready when you are ScoMo.
