Presented by Urunga Mylestom Chamber of Commerce, this year Club Urunga is the proud major sponsor of this wonderful family event that has become a part of the lives and memories of so many of us here in the Bellingen Shire.
An exciting program has been put together for Club Urunga Carols by MC Linda Robertson with a Magic of Christmas theme.
“We have designed a program for families to enjoy, for them to sing along to and have a dance to well-known Christmas favourites. We want them to share the Joy of Christmas,” said Linda.
Club Urunga Carols will again feature many local artists and groups. For the cuteness factor the kids from both Urunga Community Pre-school and Stepping Stones Pre-school are bound to steal the show. There will also be some amazing talent provided by Urunga Public School and Mary Help of Christian School, each singing some Christmas classics.
Local father and son trio D’Boyzos will be one of the new additions to the Club Urunga Carols line up, joining some of the long-time crowd favourites such as sisters Katie and Emma Goddard. There will be many more but none more popular than the man in the big red suit – Yes, Santa Claus will drop by to make a special appearance to say hello to all the boys and girls!
A great variety of food and drinks will be on offer to keep those bellies full and smiles on the faces of all the family. Simply pack the picnic rug, get your Glowsticks from the Chamber stall and sit back and enjoy the show.
Club Urunga Carols will conclude with a fireworks spectacular over the waters of the beautiful Bellinger and Kalang rivers. A sight and sound experience that sends shivers down the spine with its grandeur and beauty. What better way to share the Magic of Christmas?
Club Urunga Carols will be held at the Morgo Street Reserve, Urunga on Saturday December 22 from 5pm to 9pm.
