Students and staff of Raleigh Public School were invited to be a part of the special parade at Park Beach Plaza in late November to welcome Santa and his live reindeer for the Christmas season.

Bernadette Driscoll from the school said they came second in the shop for schools promotion earlier in the year and as a result were chosen, alongside with Nana Glen, to be a part of the parade.

“This was a memorable experience for our small school in such a big crowd,” Ms Driscoll said.

“The students walked around the shopping centre with big smiles and great manners as we joined the celebration.”
