Forums provide an opportunity for residents to meet with councillors and talk through matters of community interest and importance.
Bellingen Shire Mayor Cr Dominic King said, “By choosing a central location we hope to make it easier for people who wouldn’t normally visit council to stop by and ask questions, make suggestions or just have a chat in an informal environment.”
Further councillor forums will be held in Dorrigo and Urunga early in the new year as council endeavours to provide more options for residents to engage with their councillors.
