This event showcases local products which are made, grown or produced exclusively on the Dorrigo Plateau.
Made in Dorrigo is a wonderful day for all the family and offers a great opportunity to source unique Christmas gifts for your family and friends.
A great variety of products will be available including goat's milk soap, native plants, woodcraft, preserves, jewellery, home baking, open pollinated seeds, wool products, art, honey, toys, Avirida organic skin care, clocks made form re-purposed vinyl records, cacti and succulents, soya wax melts, local fresh produce, recipe books, photography, Dorrigo historical books, certified organic garlic, the super popular Welsh cakes, home made dog treats, handicrafts and much more. A wonderful jumping castle, located in the Dorrigo Community centre, generously provided by Peter Gibson of Dorrigo IGA. Santa plans to arrive at the Community centre at 11am and Katrina Collins from ShutterWink will be doing Christmas portraits. Sand Art and other activities will be happening near Coronation park ( big log park).
A variety of food stalls and local cafes will offer plenty of choice to satisfy hungry visitors and locals. Live music will be provided by local musician John Peppercorn plus two local school choirs. Also various local community groups and services will have information stalls.
A wonderful array of shops will be open for you to explore including The Peter Mortimer Gallery, Red Cedar Emporium, Iris & Elm, Dorrigo Sweet Shop, What Do You Think Miss Wink and Lily & Me, just to mention a few.
